Your home isn’t the only area that can benefit from a little of Marie Kondo’s trendsetting wisdom. Your class space in D2L can easily become cluttered in the hectic pace of teaching quarter-to-quarter, which can negatively impact your students’ impression of the course and your own teaching experience. In this webinar, D2L power users from the Center for Teaching and learning will use principles from Marie Kondo’s “Life-Changing Magic of Tidying Up” as a framework for understanding and organizing the elements of a D2L course shell, highlighting small changes that have a big impact.
This webinar will blend instructional and interactive elements; participants will experience first-hand how information architecture impacts user experience and begin applying what they learn to their own course(s). Participants will leave with a better ideological framework for how they want their course to present to students together with a practical checklist for “Marie Kondo-ing” their content.
This is a webinar that will be facilitated online via Zoom. A link to the meeting will be emailed to participants prior to the start of the event.
