I attended this event at DePaul University and thoroughly enjoyed it, the movie was great and then hearing Michael Shannon share his experiences one on one was so awesome, I appreciate the emotion that he brings to his parts. He was able to have me feel empathy for his Character General Zod in the Man of Steel picture, which is hard to get someone to feel bad for the bad guy. The "Take Shelter" movie was also great he brings great conviction to the parts he plays, I want to see more of what he has been in. The first time I recall seeing him was in the movie Premium Rush which was interesting. Great actor and great person to give his time like that to everyone.
