A small theatre company faces criticism and threats to their safety as they try to share a forbidden love story across Europe and the Yiddish theatre scene of New York City. Through glimpses into the tenacity of the Jewish spirit, Indecent proves that Yiddish theatre, a practice of song, mysticism, and heart, has not yet had its last word.
