The Mérida program is centered around community engagement and Spanish language. Students volunteer with local school children in a community with whom DePaul has a rich and long-standing partnership. Students also study Spanish, anthropology, and live in homestays. Dr. Nila Ginger Hofman will direct the program, traveling with and supporting students.
