About this Event
25 E. Jackson Blvd.
Join Professor Elisabeth Ward for a discussion of the International Human Rights Law Practicum (IHRLP), DePaul’s international human rights law clinical program, and the Post-Conflict Justice Immersion Program (PCJIP), which is traveling to Rwanda and Tanzania.
The IHRLP is a full year course (2 credits in the fall and 5 in the spring) which provides students with an opportunity to experience the complex and varied approaches to human rights legal advocacy in an international setting. The course is open to second and third year students. All current interested 1L and 2L students are encouraged to attend. Applications for the IHRLP are due mid-March.
The PCJIP is a 10 day, 2 credit course, which travels to a location relevant to international criminal law. This year, the program is traveling to Rwanda and Tanzania from May 26 – June 2. This program is open to all current 1Ls and 2Ls. Applications for the program are due mid-February.
If you are interested in either course but are unable to attend the event, please email Professor Ward at eward3@depaul.edu.
