The Tech Job Fair is around the corner. One step in the interviewing process for many companies is the case study. Are you prepared?

The case study is a real world problem that the company has faced in the past. As part of the interviewing process, a company may provide you with the details of the problem, ask you to come up with your own solution, present it and respond to questions.

Brian Fritton, VP of Engineering for Civis Analytics, will be leading a workshop to sharpen your skills. A week prior to the workshop, he will provide a case study previously used by Civis to evaluate software engineering candidates. You will have a week to work through it. On the day of the workshop, Brian will walk through the case study with tips on what he is looking for from this process.

Brian Fritton – VP of Engineering
Brian is a 2010 DePaul E-Business grad and leads the core Platform product at Civis Analytics. Brian won DePaul’s Entrepreneurial Student of the Year award in 2008 and started multiple businesses during his study there. Brian co-founded and was the CTO for a real estate crowdfunding platform that has made over half a billion in loans using proprietary marketplace and underwriting technology.
