Overview

The 2025 Journal for Social Justice Symposium will explore contemporary challenges to the rule of law, the importance of judicial independence, the role of ethical advocacy, and the duty of lawyers to protect due process and equal justice. Attendees will be invited to critically engage with the principles that sustain public trust in the legal system and reflect on their roles in upholding the rule of law.


Registration

Please register by April 8, 2026. In-person attendance is capped at 100 in-person attendees, and online attendees will receive a viewing link prior to the event.
You may be asked to show your ID while on campus. We know your time is valuable, and we appreciate your patience and cooperation.

DePaul College of Law is an accredited MCLE provider. This event is eligible for up to 2.00 hours of CLE credit.
DePaul University College of Law CLE credit is reported for Illinois attorneys only. Attorneys seeking out-of-state CLE credit must self-report and apply independently to their jurisdiction. Check the jurisdiction's requirements for credit approval.​
