CIPLIT is excited to present a talk by Jay L. Cooper, founder of Greenberg Traurig, LLP's West Coast Entertainment Practice and DePaul Law alum, and Ann Brigid Clark of Greenberg Traurig, LLP's, Los Angeles Office. During this hour-long, lunchtime presentation, they will be discussing the causes and impact of 2023's Actors and Writers Strikes.

Speaker Bios:
Jay L. Cooper is the Founder of the Los Angeles Entertainment Practice and focuses his practice on music industry, motion picture, television, Internet, multimedia and intellectual property issues. He represents individuals and companies on intellectual property matters and contract negotiations, including recording and publishing agreements for individual artists and composers; actor, director, producer and writer agreements in film and television; executive employment agreements; complex acquisitions and sales of entertainment catalogs; production agreements on behalf of music, television and motion picture companies, and all entertainment issues relative to the Internet and digital services.
Ann Brigid Clark focuses her practice on transactional entertainment, media and intellectual property matters, including the representation of independent motion picture and scripted and unscripted television production companies, multinational entertainment companies, digital media companies, financiers, independent producers, showrunners, writers, directors, artists, musicians and on-screen talent in connection with all aspects of development, production, distribution, promotion and exploitation of motion picture, television, new media, print and music projects.
