View map Free EventThe DePaul University School of Music is pleased to present a master class with Sarah Willis, horn, featuring horn students from the School of Music. This master class will be hosted by faculty member Oto Carrillo. This presentation is open to the general public with advance registration.
About our guest artist:
Sarah Willis MBE is an internationally renowned French horn player. She has been a member of the Berlin Philharmonic Orchestra since 2001 and is also an acclaimed TV and digital presenter. Travelling the world with her horn, she brings the best of classical music to a global audience.
Sarah is passionate about music education and makes full use of digital technology and social media to reach audiences worldwide. She teaches at the Berlin Philharmonic Karajan Academy and especially enjoys creating and presenting Berlin Philharmonic Family Concerts. Sarah is a regular broadcaster and interviewer on TV and online and for several years fronted the classical music programme, Sarah´s Music, for Deutsche Welle TV.
