 velopment processes. Many students feel uncomfortable talking to strangers
  or unsure of how to make connections with employers at a job fair or even
 t. The Career Center and Steelcase are teaming up to bring you some succes
 sful strategies for making connections and improving your networking skill
 s to assist you in your job search. \n\nIn this workshop\, students will l
 earn ways to: \n1) Network with employers via professional social media si
 tes such as Linkedin. \n2) Use informational interviews as a tool to conne
 ct with employers. \n3) Maintain contact with employers after a networking
  event.\n\nLocation: Loop Career Center 9500\n\nStudents will also have th
 e chance to network with recruiters from Steelcase after the workshop. \n\
 nThe Employer Insight Workshops Series is a new interactive series dedicat
 ed to providing students with opportunities to connect with employers. \n\
 nYOU MUST APPLY TO ATTEND THIS WORKSHOP. You will be prompted to complete 
 a short three-question application when you register. Your application mus
 t be approved by a Career Center staff member.
