A dialogue regarding Dr. Robin DiAngelo’s talk on white fragility with Professor Jerica Arents

In 2011 Dr. Robin DiAngelo coined the term White Fragility in an academic article which influenced the international dialogue on race. Her book, White Fragility: Why It’s So Hard For White People To Talk About Racism was released in June of 2018 and debuted on the New York Times Bestseller List where it remained for 85 weeks.

Professor Jerica Arents is a peace activist, facilitator, and educator based in Chicago. With degrees from Marquette and Loyola, she has taught in the PAX program since 2011. Her PAX 212 Identity, Privilege and Social Change and PAX 240 Voices of War and Peace: Art, Literature, and Film are among her more popular courses.
