Pro Bono Coffee Hour with PBCSI and Law Review

All law students, faculty, and staff are invited to the Pro Bono Coffee Hour. This year, as a lead up to Pro Bono Week, PBCSI and Law Review are hosting a Pro Bono Coffee Hour on Thursday, October 18th from 9:00am-10:00am in 801, asking pro bono and community service-involved alumni to come talk about how they incorporate pro bono in their careers as attorneys, why they engage in pro bono and community service, and what activities did they undertake in law school that helped explore and cultivate a sense of service.  The Public Interest Law Initiative (PILI) which facilitates pro bono placements for incoming law firm associates will be attending.

Participants:

Nolan Leuthauser, '18, U.S. Court of Appeals for the Seventh Circuit

Amanda Moncada, ’15 alum, Duane Morris
Elizabeth Hermann Smith, ’10 alum, Katten Muchin Rosenman
Brent Page, Program Manager for Public Interest Law Initiative (PILI)

We will be having 40-45 minutes of a panel discussion and then time for more general mix and mingling. Coffee, tea, and hot chocolate will be served.
