Do you want to build legal skills and help the community?
If so, please join us for the Center for Public Interest Law’s fall skill series focused on client interviewing skills. Law Students will have the opportunity to gain important legal training regarding client interviewing, spotting legal issues and writing strong case memoranda. Debi Filipovich, supervising attorney with Chicago Volunteer Legal Services, and Dan Quarfoot, staff attorney with Chicago Volunteer Legal Services, will conduct a three-part training session on 9/30, 10/2, and 10/7 from 12:00—1:00 p.m. in Room 801-bring your lunch Students will then be assigned three clients from CVLS and will complete the client interviews and intake memos. This is an outstanding opportunity for students at every stage to either learn new skills or refine and enhance existing skills and obtain direct client interaction experience at the same time.
