This one hour session builds upon the prior session recapping general concepts of research translation (getting faculty ideas into the world) and tech transfer (a subset of research translation focusing on commercialized ideas). Attendance at prior session 1 is not required.  The discussion expands upon concepts of IP protection and licensing strategies as well as revenue sharing arrangements between faculty and the university.
