Illinois will soon abolish cash bail as part of the SAFE-T Act. Law Review & the Student Bar Association are hosting a discussion panel on the coming changes on November 10th, 2022, at 12pm in Lewis Room 241.

The panel will include Representative Kam Buckner (who sponsored this legislation), Judge David Navarro (Presiding Judge Pretrial Services Division), & ASA Michelle Mbekeani-Wiley. Professor Ginger Odom will serve as the moderator.
