DESCRIPTION:Design\, landscape\, and society will introduce students to the
  unique relationships among Scandinavian society\, landscape\, and culture 
 with a focus on how they have affected the development of modern design in 
 Scandinavia and throughout the world. The program will travel through Norwa
 y and Sweden lodging in the capital cities of Oslo and Stockholm. Students 
 will be visiting sites of cultural and historical significance\, museums\, 
 and sites of architectural importance. Most importantly they will be visiti
 ng design studios throughout the trip to talk with working professionals ab
 out the impact that the particular Scandinavian context has had on their de
 sign process.
