Shared Resilience: A Concert of Music and Dance

Lin Batsheva Kahn, Theatre School faculty member and 2017 Excellence in Teaching Honoree created "Shared Resilience: Moving Forward & Together,"       a teaching/performance event that is part of DePaul's 2017-18 University Diversity Series. 

Guest dance artist Miriam Engel from Angela Dance Company will perform    with selected students at the School of Music Concert Hall after giving master classes and workshops on campus.

Piano, percussion, jazz, vocal and string pieces by Couperin, Beethoven, Piazzolla, Dessner, Reich and Burke will come to life with contemporary     dance choreography by Kahn and Engel.

Performers include undergraduate, graduate and alumni musicians Ryan Senger, Dan Burke, John-Paul Pendowski, Alex Chambers-Ozasky, Mary Arendt, Christian Hughes, George Tantchev, Mark Linley, Cristian Torres, Casey Dahl, Ben Pedersen, Zac Nunnery, Davi Priest, Lucas Gillan & dancers Cheyenne Blakely, Haley Peterson, Mattie Draftz,  Erin Miller, Alyson Dressman, Mycah McNamara, Caitlyn Beutelspacher,  Brandon Brooks, and Adam Crawford.
