Solutions Lab Grantee, Dr. Black's project focuses on 3 hurdles that migrants face: receiving money as income, storing money as savings, and sending money as remittances. His project works to address these hurdles by researching the financial challenges faced by migrants and exploring how these hurdles can be overcome. Hear about how his research with student research assistant Kyle Jennings and partnership with the Mano a Mano Family Resource Center as they assess migrants’ financial hurdles and the potential for new technologies to provide better financial inclusion for this community.
