About the Presenter:

Kevin P. Taylor has over 20 years of high-technology industry experience as a software developer, entrepreneur, executive, angel investor, and startup advisor.

In 2011, he sold the software company he founded, Obtiva Corporation, to Groupon (GRPN) and in 2014 he was on the ownership team that sold MadMimi.com to GoDaddy (GDDY).

Taylor teaches also management and entrepreneurship at DePaul University. His current research interests are founders and investors, decision-making, and entrepreneurial strategy. In 2011, Taylor was awarded a Coleman Fellowship for innovation in teaching entrepreneurship at DePaul University. In addition, he is the Chair of the advisory council for DePaul University’s Coleman Entrepreneurship Center.
