Making a Digital Edition: Introduction to Text Encoding and the Petrarchive Project

This hands-on introductory workshop is open to anyone in the DePaul community who wants to learn more about text encoding (TEI) and the construction of digital editions, using the Petrarchive project as an example (http://dcl.slis.indiana.edu/petrarchive/).
Participants should download the oXygen XML editor onto their laptops in advance.

No previous encoding or digital experience required! Refreshments will be served.
