A conversation with faculty members Beth Catlett, Laila Farah, Anne Mitchell, Heather Montes-Ireland, Sanjukta Mukherjee, and Ann Russo. Faculty will talk about their work in relation to the following questions: What are the origins of the concept of intersectionality? How has it changed and expanded? What is the relationship between intersectionality and women of color, antiracist, queer and/or transnational feminisms? How has intersectionality contributed to scholarship, teaching, and activism? How has the popularization of the term distorted its political possibilities?
