This lecture brings speakers Kelly Tzoumis (DP Public Policy Studies); Rachel Havrelock (UIC, Freshwater Lab www.freshwaterlab.org/), and Graham Pickren (Roosevelt U) to discuss water toxicity and the aftermaths of extraction. They will share their new research on Water Pollution and new oil pipelines planned in Lake Michigan (Havrelock), the BP Refinery in Calumet (Pickren); and the Toxic impact of synthetic chemicals (Tzoumis).
