"God wanted a fighter, and he found one."
Mark Wahlberg stars in the incredible true-life story of Stuart Long, a boxer who hangs up his gloves and moves to Los Angeles to pursue an acting career until he falls in love with a Sunday school teacher, survives a major motorcycle accident, and finally finds his true calling as a man of the cloth. However, he soon develops an autoimmune disease, Inclusion Body Myositis (IBM) but, nevertheless, Father Stu manages to inspire thousands upon thousands of people.
