All law students and alumni interested in the work of a a public defender's office and/or practicing law in Colorado are invited to join DePaul and UIC Law Career Services Offices, along with DePaul's Center for Public Interest Law, for a discussion with Joyce Akhahenda, Chief Deputy of the Colorado State Public Defender. Attendees will learn about this office, life as a public defender, internship/externship possibilities, post-graduate employment, and attorney life in Colorado.

Attendees are encouraged to attend in-person (bring your lunch!) in Room 343 at DePaul Law (25 E. Jackson Blvd.) or can attend via Zoom
