What is Human? Ethics in Our Own Time and Beyond

Do Androids Dream of Electric Sheep? by Phillip K. Dick explores what it means to be fully human. How will the ethical issues embedded in the book play out in the future? What should we do now to prepare? Come see DePaul faculty John Shanahan, Kimberly Quinn, Randall Honold, and Craig Klugman discuss these questions from the differing perspectives of their fields. Bioethics, philosophy, psychology and more combine in one exciting night of enlightening discussion. This event is free and open to everyone. Sposored by the English Department and One Book, One Chicago.

This program is a part of the 2018-2019 One Book, One Chicago season, exploring the theme Imagine The Future and the book Do Androids Dream of Electric Sheep? by Philip K. Dick. For more information on other events, visit www.onebookonechicago.org.
