About this Event
Meet the Firms is DePaul’s career fair for accounting students to meet public accounting and financial services firms, corporations, government entities and other organizations for internship and job opportunities.
The career fair will take place virtually on January 26, 2022 from 3-5pm CT. The virtual platform includes student profiles, multiple one-on-one video chats, and file exchange (e.g. resume). Video chat will be expected by employers.
***Please register for only ONE session per employer. You may NOT sign up for more than one slot with a firm.
Career Advising: During the event, we will have a Drop-In Career Chat available from 2:45 to 5:00pm CST with a career advisor and experienced accounting students, sponsored by Delta Sigma Pi. - Have a professional resume uploaded to Handshake. If you need help creating, revising or polishing up your resume? DePaul's Career Center can help! You can schedule an appointment with a Career Advisor or Peer Mentor here. They also have asynchronous reviews and drop-in chats. Find out more here.
- Dress in business professional attire (within camera view). If you're having trouble finding something to wear, check out DePaul's Career Closet. It's a free resource that provides new and gently worn business professional clothing to any DePaul student/alumni. All items are free and for you to keep; all you need is your student ID. There are career closets on both the Lincoln Park and Loop campuses. Details on the locations and hours can be found here.
- Refresh your virtual conversational skills. Interview Stream is a video mock interview system that you can use to practice common interview questions. Check it out here. You can also check out the Career Library for quick guides and reference sheets that will help get you ready for the fair.
