New academic year, new career opportunities!

The Career Center invites all students + alumni to the Winter 2023 Career Fair on Thursday, February 23rd from 3:00 - 6:00 pm CT on the Lincoln Park Campus in room 120 A/B of the Student Center (2250 North Sheffield Avenue, Chicago, IL). 

Meet top employers from a variety of industries recruiting for jobs and internships and learn about career paths available to you! Students + alumni from all majors and all years are invited.

ATTENTION! NEW graduate and alumni networking hour! Graduate students and Alumni will have the opportunity to network with employers prior to the career fair. This event will be from 1:30-2:30 pm on Thursday, February 23, 2023 at the Lincoln Park Campus- Student Center. Please RSVP here!

Career Fair Prep Week Events

• Resume Workshop (Virtual)- Prepare your resume for the career fair using the tips and best practices shared in this workshop. Whether you’re starting from scratch or refining an existing document, you’ll learn how to make sure your resume effectively conveys your skills and brand to potential employers. • Prep to Impress (In-person)- Stop by the Career Center for a 10 minute, personalized resume review in advance of the Winter Career Fair. We’ll also be hosting a pop up location of the Career Closet, which offers free professional clothing to students. Prep to impress at the fair with us!

• Career Fair Strategy Workshop (Virtual)- Career Fairs are all about making a strong first impression. Whether you’re currently seeking a job or internship, or building your network for future opportunities, it is important to approach your fair experience strategically. Join us via Zoom to: Gain insight into the purpose of a career fair from both the job seekers’ and employers’ perspectives. Learn what to expect the day of the fair and how you can prepare to maximize your experience at the fair. Create a foolproof plan for making sure you’re ready to shine on fair day.

Career Fair Prep Lounge!

• Career Fair Tours- Join us during the fair for a Career Fair Tour. This walking tour will be led by one of our Peer Mentors and will allow you to get a peek at what a fair is like and how to successfully navigate one. No need to sign up. We’ll be next to the check in area between 3-5pm.

• Walk in Resume Review- You will have the opportunity to speak with our Career Advisors and have your resume reviewed the same day

• Resume Printing- The Career Center will have printers available onsite for your last minute printing needs.

• Headshots- Come get your headshots! Do you need a new headshot for your LinkedIn Page? The Career Center is offering free headshots during the career fair in the career fair prep lounge.
