Woodshop Workshop Part 1 Authorization: Mitre Saw, Band Saw, Scroll Saw, Drill Press

Have you ever wanted to get hands on with woodworking tools, but didn't know how? We are now teaching our woodworking workshop, which will cover our Mitre Saw, Band Saw, Scroll Saw and Drill Press! This will cover woodshop safety and when you should use each tool, and most important of all, CLEANUP!

This workshop provides all materials. Completion of this workshop will result in your authorized use of the mitre saw, band saw, scroll saw, and drill press at the IRL. YOU MUST BE AUTHORIZED IN ORDER TO USE THE WOOD SHOP MACHINERY (so make sure to come to this workshop).

This workshop is free and open to all currently enrolled DePaul University students/staff/faculty. We do not accept those who are not DePaul affiliated. Participants will be required to sign a liability waiver prior to machine use. Please try to arrive no later than 10 minutes after the event starts, as this workshop takes the full allotted time.
