What an amazing event! So happy to have been in the presence of Yesika Salgado, she's such an inspiration. I see myself represented in her when it comes to the complexities that come with being a daughter of immigrants and finding my place in the world. I got to speak to her and get my book signed as well. Thank you to the Dep of Latin American Studies for such a warm memory <3

This is a great annual event where everyone (students, faculty, staff) can meet. Food was great!
